Artist's statement:
Living in the bay area, the beauty of nature calls for our attention. I am continually fascinated by the variety of landscapes, foliage, and the colors formed by the reflection in the water and sky. This selection of paintings focuses on the beauty of nature. Some are Plein Air paintings - showing my perception of the scene and colors in that moment. Some are from my imagination, sharing my playful arrangement of color and shapes. I pay great attention to color temperature, brush stroke and texture, in an attempt to create depth within two dimensions paintings.
