Artist's statement:
Having made the transition from film to digital some years ago, I am now scanning the thousands of negatives from past years to combine them with digital images in color and black and white. Influenced by the writings of Carlos Castaneda, I strive to combine images from dreaming with those from the everyday world. The theme of this show is " Visions From The Other Side".
The inkjet process known as "giclee" is used here to print these images onto large canvases to make them look more like paintings than photographs. Each canvas is signed and dated on the back and not yet limited to keep the prices affordable.
