Artist's statement
Gena Rabinowitz is a freelance travel and fine art photographer based in Oakland, California. She has been shooting for over 10 years and has built a diverse portfolio of images from around the world.
Her work varies in subject matter - ranging from portraiture and thematic works on identity and aging, to traditional landscape and nature photography. Through her photographs, Gena aims to capture and reveal the subtle beauty inherent in all things.
Gena also teaches elementary art at Park Day School in Oakland, where she strives to help students find their own unique vision for expressing their world through art.
